Three BOTW Poems
caliche fields
imagine being the light
the sword, the twink of the ages.
have u ever woken up
from a dream with
whispers in ur ear?
there’s constellations to guide
all in the room, but apparently
’tis technology: “and yet …
there’s sum familiar abt it.”
imagine forgetting all ur dreams
and getting flashbacks to a switch;
tell ‘em ur welcum for the throwback.
gya!
they really did eat
tho; lay it out real
simple for a twink:
land it in my lil fairy
ring, in my lil tree
twunk, in my pond,
in my river. lay it all out
at my alter. and then,
they have nerve. “but
u can … see me? i didn’t
know ur kind could see
the children of the forest!”
tf.
i almost didn’t feel bad
when the rock fell on ‘em.
the calamity
i pray with apples at the feet
of jizo in the lowest highs
and the highest lows, and
everywhere in-between.
twink’s #blessedt with spirits
‘cos there’s always time for
a childhood adventure, but
there’s a thing with a terrifying
name … to know a weapon
connoisseur, imagine it reader:
grandchild found,
and grandfather lost.
